Personal Bio

Mrs. Oluseyi is a Mental Health Advocate who constantly looks at how to improve and enhance the psychological well-being of the individual and the community as a whole, through educational programs and empowerment programs. She is passionate about mental well-being and campaign to improve attitudes towards mentally Ill-health individuals in Low Medium Income Countries (LMICs) and Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME). She has dedicated her life to providing psychological support for people with mental illness and removing the blocks that prevent them from getting psychosocial interventions and components of community-based rehabilitation. Much of her research investigates mental health issues and proposes improvement strategies and theories of change. As part of her contribution to the development of Strategy Action Plans, she proposed a development theory for a mental health action plan that meets Sustainable Development Goals 2013–2030. She also projected local initiatives, Stop Mental Illness Foundation (SMIF), and collaborated with community developers, organizations, and various stakeholders to develop and implement solutions and theories of change. Mrs. Odudimu is interested in multi-sector partnerships for mental health promotion, prevention, and the provision of a framework for the effectiveness of community interventions for improving mental health. She is potentially ready to develop her passion and knowledge in a community that values knowledge and research.
