BRIEF RESEARCH ON WHAT MAKES WOMEN HAPPY IN NIGERIA

BRIEF RESEARCH ON WHAT MAKES WOMEN HAPPY IN NIGERIA

On mother’s day, we decided to research on what makes women happy, beautiful and keeps their mental health sound. Our team in Nigeria selected the participants randomly, an interview was conducted and the results were mind-blowing. Thanks to all incredible mothers who participated in our survey and to my team, you’re brilliant.

Women needs are different and it comes with age, present circumstance and life chances. What you believe brings happiness might be different from what I consider a source of joy to me. However, I would quickly go through some of the answers, give my opinion on them and also welcome your view in the comments section.

Women do not necessarily need luxuries to remain happy, they only want a life. The highest level of degradation of a woman is toying with her dignity and respect.   A lot of men don’t appreciate the women in their lives until they lose them.

RESEARCH RESULTS

  • 30% of respondents chose money as the paramount factor,
  • 60% of respondents mentioned appreciation of their appearance, effort of caring for the kids & putting things together at home. They also emphasized on the importance of men being helpful in home chores, compassionate towards them and spoke against family members meddling in their marriage affair.
  • 5% of respondents pleaded that the side chicks should leave their husbands to them.
  • 5% acknowledged friends as a major barrier against their happiness.

Women need soft words, especially when they’re under stress. So many things could lead to a woman getting upset without any cause. Imagine a woman that woke up as early as 06:00 am, prepared the children’s breakfast, pushed through the school runs, and managed herself to work. Such a woman needs support and encouraging expressions of love to stay emotionally resilient. On the other hand, envisage such a woman with a nagging husband, colleagues or friends, of course, she will be forced to react negatively.

Women demand compliments like: thank you, sorry lovely, well-done darling, you’re doing great job honey, your food is delicious and so on. When you need to correct their wrong-doing, please wait till when they are in a happy mood.
Men, help us maintain good mental health so we can cater for the wonderful children that came through you. Women are weaker vessels and yet they manage the family successfully. Little things can either tear women apart or build their emotions and they usually come from men, children and those they surround themselves with.

CONCLUSION

Women desire truthful and trustworthy partners who will not condemn or abuse their efforts.
They wish to have friends that will not compete with them, rather support them all through challenging periods.
Every little thing matters to women. They are so sensitive. Act kindly to them and they will make you an emotionally healthy man which will, in turn, make them more attractive to you.
